As Christmas day arrives, Bianca was sent a candy bowl with peanut M&Ms (her favorite). It was from Marcus, who had wished her a merry Christmas, as well as a letter about how everyone was doing in Hidden Springs.
Bianca began to make grape pancakes for the family. She crossed her fingers, hoping that this meal wouldn't cause the stove to get caught on fire.
Justin, on the other hand, was in the bathroom, raising his people-skills since he was a Substitute Teacher. He didn't want to pursue a career in education, he wanted to become an inventor. Yet, he had a family to provide for, and he couldn't make much money as an unknown inventor.
Thankfully, Bianca's pancakes weren't burn...
Justin's mother, Jenna, arrived with hot dogs for Christmas - fancy, huh?
Everyone gathered around, tearing open presents for one another.
Meanwhile, Justin led his wife under the mistletoe and
began to give her her Christmas kiss.
"Merry Christmas," Justin said.
"Merry Christmas," Bianca replied with a smile.
The Twins and Triplets received many present from Santa Clause and their relatives. The Triplets got three teddy bears: Santa Clause Bear, Fairy Bear, and Imaginary Bear.
Marcus had sent Brian a football - Bianca had told him it was from her brother when Brian asked who Marcus was.
Caitlin also sent a present, to Justine. It was a plastic doll that had been hers when she was younger.
Calvin, Justin's teenage brother, had given Brian a soccer ball, offering to teach him when the weather was nice and warm in the summer.
Justin's parents got the kids a toy box, and Bianca's parents got
Justine an easel, one she had always wanted.
There was also a little surprise from Justin and Bianca...
The dog bed, also a gift from Justin and Bianca. Though, the doll house was a gift from Caitlin's husband who knew a friend who could make custom doll homes.
Justine loved her presents, and wanted to meet her Aunt Caitlin who lived in
Hidden Springs...
But for now, she was stuck in Twinbrook, eating Hidden Spring's amazing candy.
Outside, the Kayes new family member arrived...
Meet Mateo Kayes!
He's an adorable little neat puppy.
Mateo seems to like Ashlie, and chased her around as she giggled.
Mateo clumsily fell on the ground, but was soon up again, chasing a toddling Ashlie.
Ashlie then began to chase him, and Mateo's head was barely visible in the deep snow.
When Ashlie caught up to the squirming puppy,
she pulled on his tail, and in turn, he tackled her down.
Ashlie fell into the snow, her mouth was being engulfed in snow.
Bianca heard Ashlie's muffled cries and quickly ran towards her youngest child and pulled her off the ground. Gently patting her back, the snow that entered Ashlie's mouth went back out.
Justine had seen what had happened and quickly rushed
towards her mother and little baby sister.
Ashlie cried in her mothers arms as Bianca tried to soothe her.
"No, Mateo, no!" Justine scowled at the puppy. "Bad dog!
You don't do that to babies. Okay?"
Justine picked up the dog after she realized he was shivering.
"I think you need to warm up, little buddy."
Mateo began to warm up as Justine went inside and went
into her bedroom that she shared with her four other siblings.
Mateo cuddle with her as she played with the doll house her Aunt Caitlin's husband bought for her and her sisters. She didn't want tomorrow to come, because Bianca was taking her and her brother to the doctor's.
