Justin is the first born child born to Archie and Jenna Kayes. He was born and raised in Twinbrook. Justin is the older brother of Calvin Kayes.
Justin moves in with his friend, Lang "BlizzEgo" Gwydd, and their new roommate, Wei "Warz Lordz" Keane after graduating high school. Though he has moved out, he always calls his younger brother to keep in touch.
Justin's highly creative play has made him the most popular TarzWar player in history. He has dated many girls, mainly who play TarzWar, and all ended after about a year since mostly he wasn't committed to the relationship since he felt like they wouldn't lead anywhere. Justin's mother continued to force him into the dating world, one of the reasons Justin had moved out, but she always disapproved of the girls he would date.

One day, while heading to the bookstore to find a book about inventing and getting some comics for Lang, Justin met Bianca Ewing, who recently moved into Twinbrook and whom he was immediately attracted to. These two hit it off instantly, and soon were on their first date which lead to two children, Justine and Brian Ewing-Kayes.
